I like how the home page looks at this point. I don't think it's done done but I could definitely publish this and feel ok about it. I know that the style is not super contemporary but I'm fond of this simplistic style for websites.

I want to add some more flash to the page. I need to get more badges along the bottom, and I want some kind of visuals up by the title bar too. I had some gifs in there at one point but I wanted to get something more personalized there. I might try to draw some stuff up myself. I like that the page is plain but it's a bit too plain right now. I'll let it sit for now though.

I think that the next bit to get to work on is styling the blog pages. As you can see (or can't if I've updated it by now) there is very little going on with the blog posts.

I want to get the site pretty fleshed out before I really dig deep on the styling. The pages being linked to from the nav don't exist at all yet, and the updates don't have a proper layout yet either. I'm not trying to rush this project though. It's a little bit supposed to just be a journaling spot for me anyways. It's not like I need to have this ready to show off at all like my portfolio.
